We are working with a well-established building materials manufacturer in the Thatcham area who are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their site. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hands-on role supporting a busy production environment with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical equipment
*Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
*Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability
*Maintain maintenance records and adhere to Health & Safety procedures
*Work closely with production teams to support operational efficiency
Candidate Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally in manufacturing or production environments
*Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
*Experience with preventative maintenance programmes and fault diagnosis
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Health & Safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices
