A lovely and welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a KS2 class from January. This full-time temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils, supporting learning and contributing to a positive classroom environment.
*Role: Learning Support Assistant (KS2 Class)
*Start Date: Second week of January 2026
*Location: Camden, London
*Contract: Full time - temporary (January to end of academic year)
*Pay: £500 - £560 per week
Responsibilities
*As the Learning Support Assistant, support pupils within a KS2 class during lessons and structured activities
*Work alongside the class teacher to support learning, engagement and independence
*Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups when required
*Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and participation in learning
*Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom and daily routines
Requirements
*Experience supporting pupils as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school setting.
*Experience working within KS2 or similar age groups
*Able to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils
*Calm, patient and supportive approach to learning
*Available full time from January for the duration of the role
