Cabinet Maker / Bench JoinerSalary: £26,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE)
We are recruiting for a skilled Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join an established and growing bespoke joinery workshop. This role is ideal for an experienced craftsperson who takes pride in producing high-quality work across a range of custom joinery projects.
The Role
Based in a fully equipped workshop, you will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke joinery items including:
*Cabinetry and freestanding furniture
*Staircases
*Doors and windows (including sash and casement styles)
All work is produced to a high standard from technical drawings and specifications.
Key Requirements
*Ideally a Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a joinery or woodworking environment
*Confident using a wide range of woodworking machinery and hand-held power tools
*Strong attention to detail with a passion for quality craftsmanship
*Ability to read and interpret drawings and produce cutting lists
*Capable of working to deadlines without compromising quality
*Able to follow instructions from workshop supervision and work efficiently
*Self-motivated, reliable, and a positive team player
*Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
*Willingness to learn and continuously develop skills
Hours & Benefits
*Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
*Overtime available during busy periods
*28 days holiday including bank holidays
