Maintenance Engineer - Double Day Shift (Manufacturing)
Location: Romsey
Salary:£47,000 + benefits
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team on a double day shift pattern. You will be responsible for maintaining production machinery and site services to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation across the facility.
Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical faults to minimise downtime
* Support engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Work to site Health & Safety standards and promote safe working practices
* Record maintenance activities and update CMMS systems where required
* Provide technical support to operations and help optimise machine performance
About You * Time-served or qualified Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, food, automotive, or similar production environment
* Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working a double day shift pattern
* Knowledge of PPM systems; PLC fault-finding experience advantageous
