Maintenance Engineer - Continental Shifts (Manufacturing)
Location: Faringdon
Salary:£50k - £55k + benefits
We are recruiting a proactive Maintenance Engineer to work on a continental shift pattern within our modern manufacturing facility in the SN/OX region. You will play a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently by delivering both planned and reactive maintenance to a range of machinery and plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities * Complete PPM and breakdown maintenance on production and packaging machinery
* Rapidly diagnose and rectify mechanical and/or electrical faults to minimise downtime
* Support improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and reliability initiatives
* Ensure compliance with site Health & Safety policies and safe systems of work
* Maintain accurate maintenance logs and contribute to continuous improvement culture
* Work collaboratively with production teams to achieve site performance targets
About You * Time-served or qualified Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG production environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working on a continental shift pattern
* Knowledge of PPM systems and basic understanding of PLCs advantageous
