Job Title: Special Needs Teacher - Secondary Location: Newham, London
Hours: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Special Needs Teacher to join a secondary school in Newham. This full-time role involves supporting students with additional learning needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with SEN
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
* Collaborate with subject teachers, support staff, and external agencies
* Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
* Contribute to the development of an inclusive and supportive school environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching secondary students with special educational needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, resilience, and creativity in lesson delivery
* Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
