Job Description:
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Egineer
Location: Corby
Salary: up to £45k
Overtime/Shift Allowance: Sat x1.5, Sun x2
Hours: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (alternating weeks, double day shifts)
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
Benefits: pension up to 7% Match
About the Role We are looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and site facilities through effective fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults on industrial machinery and site facilities.
* Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks.
* Record all planned and unplanned work before the end of each shift.
* Ensure all engineering work meets required safety standards.
* Participate in handover meetings at the end of each shift.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications * Minimum Level 3 NVQ in relevant discipline.
* 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience.
* Strong fault-finding skills with PLCs, AC inverters, and servo drives.
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
* 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable).
* Basic welding skills (desirable).
