Location: Basildon | Hours: 37.5 per week (Shift-based)

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be at the heart of warehouse operations, ensuring all cargo is safely handled, accurately processed, and securely stored. Your key responsibilities will include:
*Safely loading and unloading freight using forklifts (Counterbalance preferred).
*Following warehouse procedures and maintaining accurate records.
*Reporting shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly.
*Booking in goods with correct dimensions and documentation.
*Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse.
*Daily and weekly maintenance checks on forklifts and equipment.
*Managing incoming and outgoing vehicles efficiently.
*Ensuring all staff and visitors wear the correct safety gear.
*Signing off on all freight leaving the warehouse.
*Charging forklifts at the end of each shift.
Your Hours:
*37.5 hours per week, rotating shifts:
*Shift 1: 06:00 – 14:30
*Shift 2: 11:30 – 20:00
*Mid Shift: 09:00 – 17:30
*Up to one hour unpaid lunch per shift.
*Flexibility required for occasional weekends or out-of-hours work.
What We’re Looking For:
*Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance preferred).
*Previous warehouse or freight experience is a plus.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
*Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a team-focused attitude.
