1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Didcot, Oxfordshire
Pay Scale: £89.00 - £100.00 per day
Start Date: ASAP (January 2026)
A friendly and inclusive community primary school in Didcot is seeking a committed and professional 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing dedicated, individual support to pupils who require additional assistance to access the curriculum and succeed within the classroom.
You will work closely with pupils who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), offering tailored, hands-on support throughout the school day. The role includes delivering personalised learning activities aligned with individual targets, supporting academic progress, and promoting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Key Responsibilities:
*Providing 1:1 support for pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and physical or medical needs
*Delivering individualised interventions in line with EHCP targets
*Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCO
*Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent support
This role is well suited to experienced Teaching Assistants seeking a focused 1:1 position, as well as candidates with a background in special educational needs.
