Use Your Education Experience to Make a Real Difference - Become a Specialist Tutor for Children in Oldham with Tradewind Education
Are you passionate about supporting young people and have experience in education? Tradewind Education is looking for motivated individuals from a variety of education backgrounds to provide structured, one-to-one tuition for learners who benefit from extra support outside the mainstream classroom.
Whether you are a teaching assistant, learning mentor, unqualified teacher, youth worker, SEN specialist, or have experience in another educational setting, your skills can make a meaningful impact on a young person’s life.
What the Role Involves
*Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition to meet each learner’s needs
*Plan and deliver engaging lessons that help learners overcome challenges
*Support children who may have gaps in learning or disrupted education
*Encourage confidence, independence, and academic progress
*Work in schools, community centres, or libraries across Oldham (no home visits - safe, professional settings)
Who We’re Looking For
*Experience working with children or young people in any educational context
*Ability to adapt learning to different abilities and needs
*Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*A genuine desire to help learners achieve their potential
