Role Details - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Bradford
Salary: £110-£130 per day
Contract Type: Long-term, short-term, and daily supply
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
*As a valued member of the school team, your responsibilities will include:
*Delivering planned lessons and covering classes in the absence of the class teacher
*Providing high-quality classroom support across KS1 and KS2
*Leading targeted interventions for individuals and small groups
*Supporting lesson planning, preparation, and assessment
*Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement
*Supporting pupils with additional needs to ensure an inclusive learning environment
*Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
*HLTA status or equivalent qualification - essential
*Proven experience working across primary year groups
*Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
*Confidence leading whole-class learning
*Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
*A positive, proactive, and professional approach
