£170 - £260 per day
Acadmics are working with a specialist SEN school in Canterbury who are seeking a passionate and committed KS1 & KS2 Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking team.
This role is ideal for a teacher who is driven by impact rather than data, and who is confident adapting teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN.
The Role As a SEN Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS1 and KS2
* Support pupils with a range of needs, including ASC, SEMH and additional learning needs
* Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment
* Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and SEN professionals
* Use creative approaches to promote academic progress, emotional regulation and independence
* Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
The Ideal Candidate * Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
* Have experience teaching SEN and/or primary-aged pupils
* Are calm, patient and resilient, with strong behaviour-management skills
* Are adaptable and confident teaching across mixed abilities
* Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Are open to training and continuous professional development
