1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Banbury
Pay Scale: £89.00- £100.00/ day
Start Date: ASAP
A friendly and welcoming community primary school in Banbury is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role involves supporting pupils who require additional help in the classroom, working with children who have a wide range of needs. This may include supporting academic progress, as well as helping with social, emotional, or behavioural development.
Within this role, you will be working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who have a dedicated educational health, and care plan (EHCP) and require additional hands-on support with their day-to-day education. Whilst working 1:1 with pupils, you will be focusing on completing activities which are tailored towards individual goals and targets.
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Assist pupils who have a wide range of needs (ASD, ADHD, physical and medical needs)
*Provide individualised and tailored support for pupils on EHCP’s
*Provide assessment and feedback to the SENCO and class teacher
*Work collaboratively with other support staff and class teachers
