Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire
Pay Scale: £89.00- £100.00/ day
Start Date: ASAP
A friendly community primary school in Wantage is seeking a new primary teaching assistant to join their team to support pupils who need additional classroom assistance. You will be supporting children with a wide range of needs, whether that be with improving subject attainment, social or emotional needs.
Within this role you will be working in a range of different environments, supporting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom, as well as completing 1:1 tasks with children who would benefit from tailored teaching and learning activities.
As a primary teaching assistant, you will:
*Assist pupils with a wide range of needs
*Provide tailored support to pupils on EHCP’s, providing feedback on progress to the SENCO and class teacher
*Work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils
*Have a compassionate and friendly attitude, supporting through a range of year groups
