Job Description:
Key Stage 2 Teacher, PPA COVER - Canterbury
Contract Type: Part-time, Temporary
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until the end of the academic year
Hours: Monday to Thursday PMs, Friday all day
The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher to cover PPA time starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a rich and engaging curriculum to a KS2 class, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
*There will be RE cover as well within this
*Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
*Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback.
*Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s development.
*Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
*Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
*Excellent classroom management skills.
*Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
*Ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
