Job Description:
Aspire People are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Manchester who are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term basis.
This is a key role within the school, offering responsibility, variety, and the opportunity to make a real impact on pupil progress.
The Role
You will:
Deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher PPA or absence
Lead small-group interventions across KS1 and KS2
Support teaching and learning alongside class teachers
Assist with assessment, planning, and classroom organisation
Support pupils with additional needs where required
What We’re Looking For
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Recent experience in a UK primary school (within the last 2 years)
Confidence leading whole-class learning
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
