Well established global semiconductor industry manufacturer seek a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Author to create, edit, and maintain high-quality documentation for their products and services. You will collaborate closely with engineers and subject matter experts to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
You will be crucial in developing and improving the company’s technical publications, ensuring that documentation is clear, accurate and fit for a global customer base. Your focus will be on refining content, standardising processes, and introducing ongoing improvements to the manuals already in place ensuring that information easier to use and maintain as well as providing document support and guidance to other corporate functions as required.
You will ideally possess an HNC/HND qualification or equivalent in an engineering/electronics-related subject, have proven technical writing experience in an engineering environment and high competency levels with Microsoft Office and Adobe FrameMaker. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English combined with first-class interpersonal and communication skills.
