We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a growing manufacturing business. This is a key role within the commercial team, supporting customers from initial enquiry through to accurate costings and proposals.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on customer briefs and technical information
*Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
*Liaise with internal production teams to assess materials, labour, and manufacturing processes
*Manage multiple quotations simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
*Act as a point of contact for clients during the pricing and pre-production stages
Skills & Experience Required
*Proven experience (approximately 3–8 years) within manufacturing.
*Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods including joinery, metal fabrication, and plastic components
*Confident working with technical drawings and specifications
*Competent user of Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience of accounting or estimating software (e.g. Sage or similar)
*Highly organised with the ability to respond quickly in a fast-moving retail environment

Package & Working Hours
*Salary in the region of £30,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
*Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
*Free on-site parking
