East End Glasgow, hybrid working
£40,000 - £50,000
An established financial planning firm is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to support its advisory team and contribute to the delivery of high quality, client focused financial advice.
This role would suit a technically capable Paraplanner who enjoys report writing, research and working closely with advisers. You will join a professional and sociable office environment where paraplanning is valued and where ongoing development is actively supported.
The role
You will work closely with Financial Planners to ensure advice is thoroughly researched, clearly documented and aligned with each client’s objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing detailed financial reports and suitability documentation
*Carrying out technical research across investments, pensions and wider financial planning strategies
*Supporting advisers in the design and delivery of tailored financial plans
*Producing cashflow models to support retirement and long term planning
*Maintaining accurate and up to date client records using back office systems
*Liaising with clients to gather information and respond to queries in a timely, professional manner
*Delivering a consistently high standard of client service
What you will need
*Previous experience in a Paraplanner role within a financial planning or wealth management environment
*Strong report writing skills and solid technical understanding of financial planning advice
*Experience using Intelligent Office, or similar back office systems, would be advantageous
*Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
*A professional, client focused approach
