Job Description:
Administration Assistant
**MUST DRIVE DUE TO LOCATION**
Adore Recruitment is pleased to be working on behalf of a well-established water and asbestos laboratory, who are seeking an Administration Assistant to join their busy and supportive team.
This role would suit a recent graduate or someone local looking to develop their career within a professional laboratory and office-based environment.
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £25,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
The Role
Reporting to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will provide essential administrative support across the business. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required, as the role involves handling scientific documentation and client data.
Key responsibilities include:
*Booking samples onto the company portal
*Preparing and issuing scientific reports for clients
*Opening and distributing post
*Typing, scanning, and filing documentation
*Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
*General office support duties, assisting the wider team as required
The Ideal Candidate
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Confident working with data and written documentation
*A proactive and reliable team player
*Willing to support with all aspects of office administration
*Must have own transport, as the location is not easily accessible by public transport
