Our education recruitment agency is seeking a committed and empathetic Special Needs Tutor to support pupils within a special needs school in South Manchester. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about inclusive education and making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
Role Overview You will work with pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis, delivering tailored learning programmes designed to meet individual needs. Pupils may present with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex learning difficulties. You will work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN professionals to support both academic and personal development.
Key Duties * Plan and deliver personalised learning sessions

* Adapt teaching approaches to suit a range of SEN needs

* Support pupils’ emotional regulation and engagement

* Track progress and provide feedback to school staff

* Foster a safe, encouraging, and structured learning environment

Candidate Requirements * Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN

* A calm, patient, and flexible approach

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Relevant education, tutoring, or SEN qualifications (desirable)

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
