Job Description:
Geography Teacher - Secondary School - Hereford
Location: Hereford
Pay: £150-£220 per day (dependent on experience)
We are working in partnership with a secondary school in Hereford to recruit a Geography Teacher for a long-term position starting this term. This role will involve teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4 and is suitable for experienced teachers or ECTs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons, supporting pupils of varying abilities and contributing positively to the Humanities department.
Key responsibilities:
Planning and delivering high-quality Geography lessons
Teaching KS3 and KS4 classes
Assessing, marking and tracking pupil progress
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Working collaboratively with departmental staff
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
