Job Description:
SENIOR MANAGER- COLLECTIONS AND RECOVERIES
LONDON- HYBRID
UP TO £135,000
This is a senior role with significant strategic and regulatory exposure, focused on building and evolving collections and recoveries frameworks for a regulated UK financial services business.
THE ROLE
*Developing and owning collections and recoveries strategies, including policy implementation and controls
*Managing relationships with debt collection agencies, including debt sale strategy, pricing, and contractual changes
*Leading on customer forbearance approaches and monitoring default trends
*Ensuring fair customer treatment in line with FCA expectations and UK regulations
*Acting as a key contact for regulatory communication, including engagement with the FCA
*Supporting the business’s transition from BNPL into broader cash management product
*This is a Certified role, requiring confidence operating in a regulated environment.
REQUIREMENTS
*Extensvie experience in collections and recoveries strategy
*Strong experience working with debt collection agencies and debt sale processes
*Backgorund in SQL
*In-depth knowledge of UK regulations, including experience engaging with the FCA
*Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capability
