Are you a passionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role? We want you to join a fantastic school in St. Helen’s who are offering a long-term, full-time role to start immediately until Easter. This role will be to support with KS1 on a one-to-one basis.

Responsibilities:
*Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help with learning.
*Offer emotional and pastoral support to students to improve their confidence and self-esteem.
*Help students with organisational skills, study techniques, and goal setting.
*Support students with specific learning needs, including those with SEN (Special Educational Needs).
*Foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
*Work closely with teachers and parents to track and review student progress.
*Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance student learning and well-being.
What we require:
*Previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs
*Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students
*A compassionate and proactive approach to supporting student development.
*A good understanding of the challenges some students face in learning and the strategies that can support them.
*Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied needs of students.
*A commitment to promoting equal opportunities and safeguarding.
*At least 6 months experience within the last 2 years ideally working with children and Special Educational Needs
*Enhanced DBS check on the online update service or willing to get one
*Ability to provide two professional childcare references within the last 2 years
