Job Description:
Join our successful international client in the next phase of their UK expansion as Trainee Estimator.
We are seeking a candidate with solid experience in a commercial environment, with excellent customer service skills and some experience of working within engineering or similar.
You will prepare, process, and submit quotations from customer enquiries from catalogue & bespoke product ranges. As Trainee Estimator, you will own and manage your own quotes, updating records and liaising with internal & external teams ensuring the client’s requirements are met.
Main Responsibilities:
*Ensure all key information is obtained in order to offer a suitable solution for the client project.
*Ensure that the correct pricing standards are adopted for the appropriate client / project.
*Provide excellent customer service, being helpful, courteous, and professional at all times
*Ensure all opportunities for cross-selling are achieved.
Skills/Knowledge:
*Problem solving
*Numeracy and analytical thinking.
*Competent in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
*Possess energy, drive, ambition.
*Positive work ethic and a keen attention to detail.
Salary & Benefits:
*Salary will be up to 31K (depending on experience).
*28 days holiday plus bank.

*Full time hours Mon-Thursday 9-5 Friday 8.30-4.30.
