This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of projects, manage commercial teams, and work closely with site and design teams in a dynamic and quality-focused environment. The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will have a strong background in main contracting, with experience delivering high-spec residential or mixed-use schemes in London.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering projects from pre-construction through to final account, with significant input into procurement, cost reporting, and subcontractor management. This is a long-term opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking a hands-on role within a growing consultancy that values initiative and commercial acumen.
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities
*Take commercial lead on high-end residential construction projects
*Manage procurement, tendering, and contract negotiation
*Produce accurate monthly valuations and cost reports
*Handle change control, variations, and final accounts
*Work closely with project managers and site teams.
*Monitor project budgets and provide financial advice to support delivery
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements
*6+ years’ experience in a main contractor QS role
*Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
*MRICS Qualified
*Ideally Pre and Post contract experience
*Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills
*Experience on high-end residential projects in London preferred
