Are you an experienced Management Accountant who thrives on variety and enjoys working across multiple businesses? We’re looking for a proactive finance professional to join a dynamic accountancy team, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients and acting as an outsourced accounts function for several organisations.
What you’ll do:
*Prepare accurate monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, variance analysis).
*Handle month-end processes: journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations.
*Deliver insightful financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts with clear commentary.
*Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and advise clients.
*Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs and provide ongoing support.
*Assist with VAT returns, year-end accounts, and onboarding new clients.
What we’re looking for:
*Proven experience as a Management Accountant (practice or outsourced environment preferred).
*Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and month-end routines.
*Advanced Excel skills; experience with Xero and/or Sage 50 is a big plus.
*Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
*Highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities.
