Job Description:
Vivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Locum MRI Radiographer to work in Northern Ireland,
Pay Rate: £26- £29 per hour
Band: 6
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Northern Ireland
Duration: Initially 3 months with potential extension
Department: Radiology Directorate
Working Pattern: Participation in 7 day working, extended days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will undertake MRI scanning duties across NHSCT sites, delivering safe, high quality patient centred MRI services while adhering to Trust policies, MR safety standards and professional codes of conduct.
Essential Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
• Current HCPC registration
• Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in Diagnostic Radiography
• At least 1 year recent MRI experience
• Experience using GE Optima 450W 1.5T and Siemens Sola scanners
• Strong knowledge of MR safety and MRI imaging procedures
• Ability to work flexibly across sites and shifts
• Excellent communication and team working skills
Desirable:
• MRI PGCert
• PGCert or equivalent in IV cannulation
