Operations Accounts AdministratorFreight Forwarding | European Operations
We are seeking a detail-driven and proactive Operations Accounts Administrator to join a fast-paced freight forwarding environment. This is a key office-based role supporting European road, air, and ocean operations, working closely with operational and finance teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities*Administer all European supplier forms and invoices with precision and care
*Ensure client and supplier needs are met — and where possible exceeded — in a timely and cost-effective manner
*Act as a reliable link between operations, finance, and external suppliers
Main Duties*Accurate administration and data entry on the internal operations system (L Base)
*Processing haulier and agent invoices
*Adding supplier costs to L Base and ensuring data integrity
*Liaising with hauliers, agents, and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies
*Working closely with Road Freight, Air, Ocean, and Finance teams
*Querying invoice issues with operational staff across multiple departments
*Completing, issuing, and managing supplier forms
*Supporting European operational teams with day-to-day tasks as required
*Assisting with training staff when necessary
*Undertaking additional tasks essential to the effective delivery of the role
Key Skills & Experience*High levels of diligence and attention to detail
*Confident communicator, both written and verbal (phone, email, and in person)
*Comfortable liaising with external suppliers, including those for whom English is not a first language
*Good understanding of invoicing and financial processes, with the confidence to challenge incorrect data
*Previous experience in logistics, transport, or freight operations is desirable
*Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, and email systems
*Ability to work collaboratively in a busy, multi-department environment
Working Conditions*Core hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with up to one hour for lunch
*Flexibility is essential due to the operational needs of the business
*100% office-based role, 5 days per week
