Senior Data Engineer - Contract (Inside IR35) - London
I’m looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join a global reinsurance client on a 6-month Inside IR35 contract. You’ll play a key role in a major back-office transformation and help build a brand-new enterprise data warehouse.
Role Overview * Build, enhance, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake & DBT
* Translate business requirements into technical specifications
* Support the design and delivery of a new enterprise data platform
* Develop and maintain SQL-based transformations and models
* Collaborate with ingestion, visualisation, and engineering teams
* Work within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Experience Required * Strong SQL skills
* Hands-on experience with Snowflake & DBT
* Solid understanding of data modelling and transformation layers
* Experience with Azure DevOps / CI/CD
* Ability to work end-to-end across data engineering workflows
* Insurance or reinsurance experience is essential
Contract Details * Inside IR35 - up to £600 per day
* 6 months, with potential to extend
* Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite (Wednesdays required)
