Teaching Assistant - Northampton
Location: Northampton
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term or Permanent
Pay: Competitive daily rate (based on experience)

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work within dynamic secondary schools across Northampton. Starting ASAP, these roles offer a rewarding opportunity to support students both academically and personally, while gaining valuable experience in a school setting.
This role would suit you if you are:
* Considering a career in teaching or education
* Returning to a classroom-based role
* Passionate about supporting and motivating young people
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Providing targeted support to students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, including those with SEND
* Supporting behaviour management strategies and maintaining positive classroom routines
* Helping students develop confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
* Playing an active role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Enjoys working with young people and contributing to a collaborative school team
* Communicates effectively with both students and staff
* Brings patience, understanding, and enthusiasm to the classroom
* Is flexible, proactive, and keen to develop new skills
* Has experience in childcare, youth work, coaching, or support roles (beneficial but not essential)
