Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored 1:1 SEN tuition
* Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
* Build positive, trusting relationships with students
* Support engagement, confidence, and emotional regulation where required
* Provide feedback on progress and challenges
Essential Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Patient, calm, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to adapt lessons creatively
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable
* Qualified teacher, SEN specialist, or experienced tutor
* Knowledge of the UK curriculum
* Experience with EHCPs or alternative provision
* Background in education, psychology, or youth work
Location: Surrey
Hours: Flexible (part-time / full-time opportunities available)
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
