Teaching Assistant - Nursery & Infant School

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming Nursery and Infant School in South Sheffield (S20) who are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils who are tracking below expected progress.
This role will focus primarily on interventions and booster support, working mainly within Key Stage 1 classes. It is an excellent opportunity for a skilled TA who enjoys targeted support work, and would also suit a qualified teacher looking to step back from full classroom teaching while still making a meaningful impact.
The Role: * Delivering interventions and booster sessions to pupils needing additional support

* Working closely with class teachers to support progress in core subjects

* Supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis

* Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and key learning skills

The Ideal Candidate: * Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant

* Is confident supporting pupils who are behind expected progress

* Has strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Is patient, nurturing, and committed to helping young learners succeed
