Job Description:
Our client, based in South Croydon, are a family owned SME who distribute a unique product across the financial services market, and following a recent restructure, they are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to lead a small team of 5. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified by experience or qualified accountant to join this expanding company, reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for:
*Managing a small team overseeing the day to day running of the finance function
*Overall responsibility for the running of the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control functions
*Oversee the and assist where necessary in the month end and year end accounting and tax
*Provide commercial support to the Financial Controller
In many respects this is a very traditional Finance Manager role but it represents an excellent opportunity for an individual keen to progress within an ambitious company within a growing market sector. Applicants must be:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified or be able to demonstrate a Qualified by Experience background
*Experienced in supervising staff
*Able to draw upon financial accounting experience
