We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Band 5 Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our clinical team. This role involves delivering high-quality, responsive care across a Monday to Sunday rota, working day shifts only.
You will assess, treat and manage patients across a range of urgent and emergency presentations, working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide high-quality clinical assessment, treatment and care to patients in line with professional standards and clinical guidelines
*Respond to emergency and urgent care calls across the rota
*Undertake comprehensive patient assessments and make sound clinical decisions within scope of practice
*Deliver appropriate treatment, referral, conveyance or discharge decisions
*Accurately document patient care using electronic patient record systems
*Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and emergency services
*Maintain patient dignity, safety and confidentiality at all times
Essential Criteria
*Registered Paramedic (HCPC) or qualified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
*Experience working in a pre-hospital, urgent or emergency care setting
*Experience working within ambulance, urgent care or community-based services
*Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work flexibly across a Monday to Sunday rota
*Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care
