Job Description:
1:1 Teaching Assistant Make a real impact on a child’s learning and development in a supportive and inclusive Early Years setting. This is a full-time, temporary contract role starting immediately, with the possibility of extension. Role & Responsibilities As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide individualised support to a child in an Early Years setting. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to develop and implement learning plans, and create a positive and engaging learning experience for the child. You will help the child to reach their full potential.
Main tasks include *Delivering individualised learning support to a child with SEN.
*Collaborating with the teacher to develop and implement learning plans.
*Creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
*Monitoring and documenting the child’s progress.
*Communicating regularly with parents/carers.
Requirements *Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.
*Proven experience supporting children with SEN.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
*Experience working in an Early Years setting.
*Immediate availability.
