Our dynamic and fun music client are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their lose-knit, fully remote team.
This is a hands-on, varied role with real ownership. You’ll lead on year-end accounts and tax filings, act as a key point of contact with HMRC, and support a growing portfolio of creative clients — all while helping shape processes in a business that’s scaling.
You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager, mentor junior team members, and get involved in interesting projects as the business grows.
Role responsibilities
*Preparing and filing year-end accounts for SME clients
*Managing personal tax returns for self-employed individuals
* Liaising with HMRC on corporate and personal tax matters
*Reviewing VAT returns and overseeing payroll
*Onboarding new clients and migrating data to QuickBooks
*Supporting and advising junior team members
Candidate Requirements
You’ll thrive here if you’re:
*Experienced in practice in a similar role
*ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)
*Confident with UK GAAP, UK tax legislation, and AML
*Organised, detail-driven, and comfortable managing deadlines
*Friendly, professional, and great with clients
*Proactive, curious, and a team player
*Music industry experience is a bonus
