HGV Class 1 Driver - Trunking
Swindon | £16-£20.50 per hour | 4am-6am starts | Monday-Friday | Temp to Perm | Ongoing
Introduction Acorn by Synergie is urgently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) Drivers for a busy trunking operation in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking regular weekday work, competitive pay, and long-term prospects in a modern logistics environment.
Key Duties * Carry out trunking work using double-deck trailers.
* Complete depot-to-depot runs with no manual handling.
* Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable vehicle.
* Represent the company professionally at all times.
Requirements * Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) licence.
* CPC and Digi Tacho card.
* Experience with double-deck trailers preferred.
* Strong work ethic and reliable timekeeping.
What We Offer * £16-£17.50 per hour (PAYE).
* £19-£20.50 per hour (UMB PAYE).
* Minimum 8 hours paid per shift.
* Start times between 4am and 6am.
* Monday to Friday work (no weekends).
* Modern, well-maintained fleet.
* Overtime available.
* Temp to perm opportunities.
