Job Description:
We’re working with a fast-paced, international business operating at the heart of high-profile events and global logistics. Supporting major events across sport, aviation, music and corporate sectors, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts professional to join on an ongoing temporary basis, with scope to grow and take on more responsibility over time.
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Operations and Events. You’ll play a key part in keeping financial processes running smoothly, supporting day-to-day accounting activity while working closely with internal teams. It’s ideal for someone highly organised, detail-driven and confident juggling multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and issuing client invoices (training provided)
* First-line approval of client invoicing
* Reconciling client and corporate credit card transactions
* Reconciling supplier invoices and preparing reports
* Tracking company and event-related expenses
* Producing financial reports linked to events
* Producing monthly client statements
* Supporting credit control and debt recovery
* Managing finance-related inbox queries
* Maintaining supplier and tariff data within internal systems
About You
* Proven experience in accounts or finance administration
* Strong numeracy and understanding of basic accounting principles
* Confident handling confidential financial information
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
* Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
Essential Skills
* Experience using Xero
* Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Desirable
* Exposure to VAT, payroll or bank reconciliations
* Experience in AP/AR, bookkeeping or finance support roles
* Familiarity with CRM systems
* AAT Level 2 or 3 (or working towards)
