Maths Teacher with QTS
SEMH School, Basingstoke
ASAP start - Full-time contract - temp to perm
Academics are recruiting on behalf of an SEMH secondary school in Basingstoke who are looking to appoint a passionate and empathetic Maths Teacher to join them ASAP. The school supports children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in a co-educational provision for young people between the ages of 10-16 years.
The suitable Maths teacher will be emotionally intelligent, empathetic, highly motivated and be able to deliver an exciting and engaging curriculum that develops learner’s Maths knowledge and skills, from KS3 - KS4. You will ideally have experience of teaching in an SEN/SEMH school although this role is open to all.
The school pride themselves on equipping students with the relevant life skills to become valued members of the community, prepping students for Post-16 education and inspiring them using a curriculum that ensures they have the knowledge, experiences and skills to develop their cultural capital.
This campus has brilliant facilities including a new computer suite, state of the art fitness gym and a great school library.
