Job Description:
Aspire People are supporting a primary school in Salford who are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant with an SEMH focus to support pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support.
This role would suit someone confident supporting children with SEMH, behavioural challenges, and trauma-informed needs.
The Role
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis
Implementing behaviour support strategies
Supporting emotional regulation and social development
Working closely with SEN staff and external professionals
Helping pupils engage positively with learning
Requirements
Experience working with SEMH or behaviour needs
Strong behaviour management skills
Calm, resilient, and consistent approach
Primary school experience preferred
