Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a caring and enthusiastic 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham. This role involves providing dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities: *Deliver personalised 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs (SEN).
*Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning materials to suit individual needs.
*Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans.
*Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
*Track progress and share feedback with staff and parents.
Requirements: *Previous experience supporting children in a primary setting (SEN experience needed).
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
