Job Description:
Aspire People are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in North Manchester who are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs on a long-term basis.
This school has a strong focus on inclusion, wellbeing, and nurturing positive relationships, making it an excellent environment for an experienced SEND TA.
The Role
Providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEND
Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
Assisting the class teacher with differentiation and support strategies
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Supporting pupils’ academic and social development throughout the school day
Requirements
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary setting
Calm, patient, and consistent approach
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification preferred
