Export CoordinatorFull-time | Office-based (with 1 day WFH)


We’re working with a well-established and highly reputable business that operates internationally - supplying safe, compliant and high-quality products to customers worldwide.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an Export Coordinator to support their Export Team and play a key role in the end-to-end organisation of export shipments.
The roleThis is a hands-on, detail-focused position responsible for coordinating export containers, liaising with suppliers, customers, freight agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure shipments are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with the wider export and accounts teams and must be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Key responsibilities*Raising proforma invoices and ensuring product descriptions align with labelling requirements
*Checking product availability and coordinating loads within agreed shipping periods
*Ensuring prepayments and/or import licences are received prior to loading
*Booking loading dates and times with freight agents
*Liaising with veterinarians for inspections and health certification where required
*Issuing shipping advice and managing shipment confirmations
*Preparing and distributing documentation and loading instructions to all parties
*Verifying consignment details and resolving discrepancies with internal stakeholders
*Coordinating Bills of Lading and customs invoice instructions
*Sending full documentation sets to customers for approval and arranging originals
*Preparing bank collections for CAD shipments and dispatching documents via courier
*Tracking shipments and maintaining accurate export logs
*Raising invoices on the company ERP system and liaising with accounts
*Supporting general administration, filing, and ad-hoc tasks as needed
What we’re looking for*Previous experience in shipping, exports, or logistics
*Strong numerical ability and confidence using Microsoft Office
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Clear written and verbal communication
*Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
*Confident, proactive, and able to use initiative
*A collaborative team player with a positive, outgoing approach
