About the roleWe’re looking for a detail-focused Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in high-volume invoice processingwho wants to grow their career in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll play a key role in managing supplier invoices, payments, and records across multiple business divisions.
What you’ll be doing*Process purchase invoices and match them to purchase orders or delivery records.
*Maintain accurate ledger entries and handle statement reconciliations.
*Liaise with internal teams and respond to supplier queries promptly.
*Process bacs payments and ensure supplier accounts are up-to-date.
*Set up new suppliers and maintain accurate records.
*Monitor inboxes, scan and file documents, and assist with ad hoc finance tasks.
What we’re looking for*Experience in high-volume invoice processing.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
*Proactive, confident, and able to work independently or in a team.
*Competent in Microsoft office, particularly excel and word.
Qualifications*No formal qualifications required — experience and accuracy are key.
