History Teacher - Northampton
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term Supply (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: MPS/UPS - Competitive, dependent on experience

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Northampton to recruit a committed History Teacher for an immediate start. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, offering a supportive environment and excellent professional development opportunities.
Role Overview: * Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for History through creative and interactive teaching approaches
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement
* Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations
* Support whole-school initiatives and enrichment activities where appropriate
Candidate Profile: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History
* Ability to motivate and challenge students of varying abilities
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A collaborative team player committed to professional development
* Suitable for experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
