ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – MANUFACTURING
NORMANDY, SURREY – PERMANENT – OPPORTUNITY TO GROW WITH A HANDS-ON FINANCE TEAM
£28,000 – £32,000 + benefits
Are you an Accounts Assistant looking to deepen your experience? Do you enjoy being hands-on across all areas of finance?
We’re hiring for a growing manufacturing business in Surrey that’s looking to add a reliable, detail-focused Accounts Assistant to their team. This is a broad, varied role supporting across the full finance function – ideal for someone keen to develop their skills in a collaborative setting.
WISH LIST
*Experience in a finance team or strong interest in developing a finance career
*Comfortable using Excel (intermediate level)
*Methodical, organised, and confident working with numbers
THE ROLE
*Raise and check sales orders in line with internal processes
*Send invoices and customer statements
*Process purchase invoices across group companies
*Verify supplier bank details and support query resolution
*Reconcile multiple bank accounts
*Enter warehouse receipts and update stock records in the ERP system
*File and scan documentation accurately
*Monitor shared mailboxes and respond promptly
*Support wider finance team with day-to-day tasks
*Contribute to process improvements and team initiatives
YOUR PROFILE
*Effective communicator – written & verbal
*Good working knowledge of MS Excel
*Previous exposure to Microsoft Business Central or Sage 50 (helpful but not essential)
*Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
SALARY & BENEFITS
*£28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience
*Full-time, permanent role
