Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Business Development & Operations Manager to join their growing UK operation based on-site in Maidenhead.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with an established, internationally connected business entering an exciting phase of growth over the next three to five years. The role offers significant variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact within a small, collaborative team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, hybrid role combining operational management with business development. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations while also supporting revenue growth and strategic expansion, working closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day business operations including order processing, fulfilment, logistics, supply chain, inventory, and office administration
Improve internal systems, processes, and reporting to support efficiency and scalability
Support budgeting, financial tracking, and business planning
Line manage a small team
Ensure compliance with UK employment, trading, and data regulations
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
Develop and implement sales and growth initiatives
Attend meetings, events, and represent the business externally
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Candidate Profile
Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related discipline
2–4 years’ experience in operations, business development, or sales
Strong organisational and project management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Commercially minded with a results-driven approach
Confident using CRM systems, ERP platforms, and standard office software
Desirable
Experience within a small business or entrepreneurial environment
Exposure to multi-functional or fast-growing organisations
International business experience
