Maths Teacher - SEMH School Location: Islington
Start Date: ASAP Start
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term (Potentially perm for the right candidate)
Remedy Education are working with a specialist SEMH school in Islington who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting As soon as possible.
The school supports students with social, emotional and mental health needs and has a strong performing arts focus, offering a creative and supportive environment where students are encouraged to engage with learning in different ways.
The role: * Teaching Maths across KS3-KS4
* Planning and delivering lessons that are clear, practical and engaging
* Adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with SEMH
* Creating a calm, structured classroom environment
* Working closely with support staff to help students make progress
* Monitoring and assessing student progress
The school is looking for someone who: * Holds QTS or equivalent
* Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level
* Is confident working with students with SEMH or similar needs
* Has good behaviour management and a calm, consistent approach
* Is patient, reliable and committed to supporting young people
