Your Key Responsibilities
*Operate advanced X-Ray screening equipment to inspect cargo.
*Examine and verify items ready for export.
*Analyse X-Ray images to identify potential threats and prohibited items.
*Conduct security checks in line with CAA regulations and company training.
*Record and escalate any issues or concerns promptly.
*Maintain a safe and secure working environment.
*Support general warehouse operations, including counterbalance forklift duties.
*Apply knowledge of airline codes, prefixes, and common cargo abbreviations.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience in X-Ray screening (preferred).
*Experience in a time-sensitive environment.
*Certification in Cargo X-Ray screening (advantageous).
*Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
*Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
*Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written).
*Verifiable 5-year employment history in the UK.
*Clear Criminal Record Check (Basic DBS).
*Cargo Operative Screening Certificate (preferred).
*Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance).
*Ability to commute easily to Manchester Airport – own transport and driving licence preferred.
